Due to an increase in the number of case reviews and the introduction of new technology and treatment modalities, we need additional, well trained physician reviewers! What does a physician reviewer do?As a physician reviewer, you will play an integral role in building partnerships within the healthcare community in order to increase value and quality in the healthcare system. Using medical records, you will be asked to review healthcare services and make a determination regarding medical necessity, appropriateness of the setting, and whether the care provided met professionally recognized standards. An average review takes about an hour and varies with the amount of documentation and complexity of the case. Benefits
