Our Goal: Increase flu and pneumonia vaccinations in New Jersey

In order for HQSI to meet our goal, it is important for the public to realize and take advantage of the benefits of flu and pneumonia immunizations and become knowledgeable in how they protect themselves and the people around them.
 

How can you maximize your reimbursement for vaccines?

HQSI is committed to working with physicians and their office staff in developing strategies to improve office flow and maximize Medicare reimbursement by:

  • Improving scheduling policies and procedures
  • Combining flu and pneumoccocal immunizations as part of other services (Medicare will reimburse for the vaccine even if the service is provided as part of a routine office visit)
  • Sending reminders
  • Providing information to educate patients
